Description
A very nice shelter next to the Fuglemyrhytta (cabin) with a very nice view to Holmenkollen and part of Oslo. The cabin is locked and for paid reservations but you can still use the shelter for free. It can get a bit busy with runners and hikers during the day but it is a very good spot.
The shelter is close to Vettakolen and the closest public transport to Oslo is approx. 1 hour. However, it is also possible to walk from Sognsvann and start your weekend trip from there.
